Get Ready for a double dose of Holy Terror! Dark Nuns, the terrifying sequel to the K-Horror film The Priests, is set to debut on digital this July, along with the original movie.

Hyeok-jae Kwon (Count) directed the film. The cast includes SONG Hye-kyo (The Grandmaster), JEON Yeo-been (Harbin, Alienoid), and LEE Jin-wook (Squid Game). DARK NUNS follows two determined nuns who take on a dangerous, forbidden exorcism ritual to save a young boy possessed by a powerful evil spirit. In direct defiance of the Church’s sacred order, they put both their lives and their immortal souls in grave danger.

For the first time, The Priests will also make its debut on the same day, courtesy of Well Go USA Entertainment! JANG Jae-hyun (Exhuma) directs. The movie stars KIM Yoon-seok (Noryang: Deadly Sea), GANG Dong-won (Train to Busan Presents Peninsula), and PARK So-dam (Parasite). This is your chance to see where the terrifying saga began.

In Dark Nuns, Sister Giunia discovers that a terrifying entity possesses Hee-joon. She pleads with the church for help, only to be met with doubt and inaction. Convinced that time is running out, she joins forces with a rogue nun to perform a forbidden exorcism. It could cost them both their lives. As the ritual spirals out of control, dark secrets begin to emerge. Sister Giunia must confront the true nature of the evil she’s facing in this gripping supernatural thriller..

What’s the Original about?

In 2015’s The Priests, a young girl named Young-shin begins experiencing terrifying, inexplicable phenomena after a hit-and-run accident. Desperate for answers, priest Father Kim (KIM Yoon-seok), long shunned by the church for his unorthodox methods, takes on one final exorcism. He enlists Deacon Choi (GANG Dong-won), who secretly reports to the church. As they enter Young-shin’s room, the ritual begins. They are in a desperate battle for survival against an unspeakable evil that may consume them all.
