“Tag! You’re Dead” is an addictive side-scrolling horror game that’s a playable reimagining of the cursed video game featured in the fan-favorite FOUND film, /demo_n. If you saw that film, which premiered on the platform in April, you’ll recognize the nightmarish city overrun by demons. The game puts you in the shoes of the same character, Gary, as he navigates this terrifying, reinterpreted world.
This project is being developed by the FOUND Gaming team, led by Avery La Vella, a talented young independent developer who’s pouring creative passion into the game. Inspired by the original animations created by filmmaker Gary Francis Roche, “Tag! You’re Dead” marks FOUND TV’s exciting first step into the indie gaming scene – a natural evolution of their commitment to supporting unique, independently created horror experiences.
Gary Francis Roche himself noted, “This demo doesn’t just serve as a companion piece to the film — it adds real value to the IP. It’s a slice that hints at the full potential of what a complete version of the game could be, while staying true to its cinematic origins.”
Expanding the FOUND Universe
The FOUND Original Games team recently attended the XP Game Summit in Toronto, actively building relationships with developers and publishers. Their goal? This marks the beginning of a strategic push to grow FOUND’s presence in gaming. Their aim? To connect with creative voices across the industry.
