The Movie Partnership has announced that Borderline, the directorial debut of Cocaine Bear writer Jimmy Warden, will be available on Digital platforms this September.
Produced by Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley’s Luckychap Entertainment (Barbie, Saltburn), the film is an edge-of-your-seat thriller starring Samara Weaving as a ’90s pop superstar. The story follows her as a dangerously persistent stalker, played by Ray Nicholson (Smile 2), who invades her home with the delusion of forcing her into marriage. With her life on the line, she must rely on her loyal bodyguard to help her escape his sinister grip.
Samara Weaving is known for her roles as a badass final girl in movies like Ready or Not and its upcoming sequel, Ready or Not 2, as well as the action-packed movie Mayhem. She also starred in the supernatural horror movies The Babysitter and The Babysitter: Killer Queen.
The film’s cast also includes Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy), Jimmie Fails (The Nickel Boys), Alba Baptista (Warrior Nun), and Patrick Cox (Aquaman).
