The long-awaited “Supernatural” reunion is finally here, and it looks like a total bloodbath. Prime Video just dropped a teaser for “The Boys” Season 5, Episode 5. We finally get a clear look at Jared Padalecki as the speedster Mister Marathon. He joins Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins for a truly twisted on-screen get-together. This debut happens in just two days, and fans are already screaming. Eric Kripke clearly loves making his former stars suffer in the most creative ways.

Soldier Boy’s New Mission

The new footage provides much-needed context for the trio’s tense encounter. Soldier Boy and Homelander are currently on a desperate quest for V1. They track down Mister Marathon, hoping he can provide the ultimate power boost. Padalecki’s character seems nervous as he welcomes the terrifying duo to his lair. He might hold the key to Homelander’s dream of becoming immortal. However, crossing these two supes usually ends with someone losing a limb.

Homelander Style and Stressed Frenchie

The teaser reveals more than just a legendary CW reunion. We see a visibly distressed Frenchie and a very surprising fashion choice for Stan Edgar. Giancarlo Esposito is shown wearing a Homelander sweatshirt, a look usually reserved for freedom camps. Edgar ends the clip by calling the meeting a “delightful reunion” with pure sarcasm. It is the perfect setup for an episode that feels both hilarious and horrifying. The stakes for Vought’s former CEO have never looked quite this ridiculous.

Will History Repeat Itself?

Fans have a dark theory about Misha Collins’ character meeting a messy end. In “Supernatural,” his character was famously blown to bits by a snap of fingers. “The Boys” might recreate that iconic moment with ten times more gore. We see Mr. Marathon covered in blood, suggesting a high-speed collision is coming. Someone is definitely getting butchered before the final credits roll this week. This is one family reunion that won’t end with a group hug.

Padalecki and Ackles are just part of a major “Supernatural” reunion.

It is no secret that “The Boys” creator Eric Kripke—the mastermind behind the first five seasons of Supernatural—loves to bring his “family” along for the ride. The list of actors who have swapped hunting demons for hunting Supes (or becoming them) has grown into a massive roster of familiar faces. Kripke has sprinkled “Supernatural veterans throughout the series in both major and minor capacities.

Supernatural Meets Supes

-Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester): Joined in Season 3 as the legendary, shield-wielding Soldier Boy.

-Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester): Debuting in Season 5 as the original Seven speedster, Mister Marathon.

-Misha Collins (Castiel): Joined the Season 5 cast in a guest role as a Supe who seemingly ends up on the wrong side of Soldier Boy’s temper.

-Jeffrey Dean Morgan (John Winchester): Played Joe Kessler, a rugged and shadowy figure from Billy Butcher’s past in Season 4.

-Jim Beaver (Bobby Singer): Fittingly plays Robert Singer, the Secretary of Defense (and later presidential candidate). His name is a direct nod to his Supernatural character.

-Rob Benedict (Chuck/God): Appeared in Season 4 as Splinter, a Supe with the unsettling ability to duplicate himself.

-Alexander Calvert (Jack Kline): Showed up in the spin-off Gen V as Rufus, a telepathic student at Godolkin University.

-Nathan Mitchell (Kelvin): While he plays Black Noir, he previously appeared in Supernatural as an angel.

-Gattlin Griffith (Young Jesse Turner): Played Gunpowder in Season 3, the weapons-obsessed former sidekick of Soldier Boy.

-Christian Keyes (Michael): Appeared as Nathan, A-Train’s older brother and trainer.

-Adrianne Palicki (Jessica Moore): Played Samantha Beart (an invisible Supe mentioned in the lore) and had a minor role in the The Boys universe.

-Leslie Nicol (Patty): Played Connie Butcher, Billy’s mother.

The crossover energy is so strong that fans often joke that “The Boys” is just the longest “Supernatural epilogue ever filmed. Check out the “The Boys” teaser and trailer below ahead of the episode’s April 30 airing. It’s going to be bloody good.
