Depending on what you were looking for, Summer Game Fest kind of disappointed this year, with some games people have already heard about and no new excitement… then Horror showed up! SEGA, back on Alien Day (April 26th), had a teaser trailer up that made fans excited for the long-awaited sequel to Alien: Isolation, and today they confirmed and did not disappoint!
Alien: Isolation 2 will take players to a remote, storm-ravaged colony world. Players will endure the elements as they navigate the planet’s surface and explore the claustrophobic confines of the Weyland-Yutani outpost of Kurosaki Station. It’s a new hunting ground for the Alien, forcing players to improvise and develop new tools, techniques, and tactics to survive the deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
Alien: Isolation 2 will be coming out for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. As more information comes, you’ll hear it from me!
Next up, CAPCOM announced the remake of the fan favorite spin-off story to the Resident Evil series, Code Veronica, but now titled Resident Evil Veronica. The game is a remake of the story about Clair Redfield, who, while looking for her brother, ends up on a prison island that soon becomes infested with zombies, and she must escape.
Resident Evil Veronica is set for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
