The witching hour is extending, and AMC is officially packing its bags for Massachusetts. AMC Global Media dropped a spellbinding first teaser for the third season of “Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, strategically debuting the footage during the penultimate episode of The Vampire Lestat.

For those ready to dive back into the supernatural dynasty, the network confirmed that the third season will officially premiere in 2027. It will be available across both AMC and AMC+.

The Salem Witch Trials Get an Immortal Upgrade

After spending the first two seasons exploring the dark, gothic corners of New Orleans, Season 3 is officially shifting its coordinates to Salem, Massachusetts.

The relocation will allow the series to plunge headfirst into a deeper, much older mythology of witchcraft. Fans can expect the narrative to weave through the infamous historical town’s actual witch trials and folklore. They will be introducing entirely new “spellbound” families into the mix. If you thought the Mayfair bloodline had drama, wait until they mingle with the local Salem covens.

The Cast & The Creative Coven

The upcoming season boasts a massive ensemble that pairs returning favorites with heavy-hitting newcomers. Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels are all back. They are joined by Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House), James Frain (True Blood), Eliza Scanlen (Sharp Objects), and Omar Maskati.

Behind the camera, the Immortal Universe is keeping its top-tier architects in place. Season 3 is executive-produced by award-winning producer Mark Johnson, who is overseeing AMC’s entire interconnected Anne Rice television universe. Co-showrunners are Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz, Michelle Ashford, and Tom Williams.
