After years of scheduling conflicts and studio shuffling, the project finally found its heartbeat when Ritchson signed on in 2023. Directed by Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry), the film already impressed critics at the 2025 Venice International Film Festival, where it landed a respectable 70% on Rotten Tomatoes.
