Are you ready to believe in the ultimate brick-built conspiracy? LEGO has officially teamed up with Dana Scully herself, Gillian Anderson, to reveal a brand-new 1,478-piece The X-Files set, complete with eight minifigures—and, naturally, enough paranormal detail to make the Lone Gunmen weep with joy.
Born from LEGO Ideas’ “90s Nostalgia Challenge,” it was crafted by Australian 3D artist and fan designer Brent Waller. It delivers a meticulous recreation of Agent FoxMulder’ss cluttered FBI basement office, a creepy forest clearing, and a hovering UFO.

A Miniaturized FBI Division
The nostalgia is thick enough to cut with a scalpel. Tucked inside the set, fans will find Mulder’s iconic “I Want to Believe” poster. There’s also a tiny “The Truth Is Out There” display tile, butthat’ss not all. It also features official-looking X-Files dossiers, pencils shoved directly into the basement ceiling, and a tiny nod toMulder’ss endless sunflower seed addiction.
As for the roster? The eight included minifigures feature Fox Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, the nightmare-inducing Flukeman, and a classic grey alien. Anderson even stars in a new promotional clip, slipping back into investigator mode to hunt down a mystery.
“Seeing myself in minifigure form is both surreal and oddly delightful—there’s something very charming about being ‘miniaturised,’” Anderson said. “The whole set is a brilliant celebration of The X-Files which I hope fans enjoy revisiting in this way—I know I can’t wait to put tiny Scully on my shelf.”
Release Dates & Exclusive Bonus
The price? It’s $199.99, but a must-have for collectors. Early access kicks off on August 1, with the public release on August 4.
The Bonus Gift: Anyone picking up the set between August 1 and August 10 (while supplies last) will score an exclusive gift-with-purchase: The X-Files: Scully’s Lab. The mini-expansion lets you recreate her FBI National Academy classroom lab and features an exclusive Dana Scully minifigure decked out in her lab coat and scrubs.
Trust no one… if they tell you this isn’t a must-have.
