Writer-director Brendan Rudnicki is back with his latest descent into supernatural terror. Steeped in dark folklore, Evil Follows takes a deep dive into demonic possession, ancient curses, and the devastating cost of survival.
The film kicks off when Sarah unknowingly opens a forgotten dybbuk box. This unleashes a relentless, ancient evil directly into her life. As the entity’s grip tightens, violent hauntings fracture her reality. Her husband launches a desperate race against time. Teaming up with a renowned spiritualist, he must untangle the relic’s sinister origins before Sarah becomes a permanent vessel for the dark spirit. But stopping the entity will require sacrifices neither of them is prepared to make.
A Continuing Partnership in Indie Horror
Evil Follows will be released by The Horror Collective in tandem with its dedicated streaming home, BloodStream. The drop marks another collaboration between Rudnicki and the boutique genre imprint.
“After working with numerous distributors over the years, I continue coming back to Studio Dome and The Horror Collective,” says Rudnicki. “Their communication, transparency, and the insight they provide through the Studio Dome dashboard are unmatched. More importantly, they genuinely care about independent horror and the filmmakers behind it. It’s always a pleasure working with Shaked and the entire team, and I’m excited to continue building our partnership with future releases.”
Shaked Berenson, CEO of BloodStream and The Horror Collective, echoes the enthusiasm for the filmmaker’s signature style:
“We’ve worked with Brendan on releasing a number of his previous films, and we’re excited to continue to work with him on Evil Follows. His films have everything that horror fans want; he’s the real deal.”
