Thirty-five years after Terminator 2: Judgment Day redefined sci-fi cinema forever. Now, Lockhart’s Lab Leaks is bringing Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic cybernetic hero back in an unexpected form: an officially licensed, high-end cologne.

Created to celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary, T-800 Eau de Parfum translates the T-800’s emotional journey from a cold, relentless killing machine to humanity’s ultimate savior; it’s now a wearable, sophisticated scent.

Cold Chrome Meets Human Warmth

Rather than slapping a picture of a killer robot on a generic bottle, perfumer Steve Lockhart set out to tell the entire story through smell.

Top Notes: Cold Bergamot, Mandarin, Chrome Steel

Heart Notes: Pink Pepper, Gunpowder, Lavender, Hawthorn

Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vetiver, Musk, Timbersilk

“The fragrance had to tell the Terminator’s whole story,” explains Lockhart, founder of Lockhart’s Authentic Grooming Company. “It starts cold and metallic with dangerous undertones of gunpowder and pink pepper. Then the warmth and humanity comes through. By the dry down, the machine has learned why men cry, though it is not something he can do.”

ASCII Easter Eggs and Collector Packaging

Lockhart didn’t stop at the scent profile. In a move only a diehard fan could appreciate, he went as far as coding hexadecimal ASCII text. It’s a 1990s computer coding system Cyberdyne Systems would have used on both the display tube and the 3.4 fl. oz. collector bottle.

Concealed within the code are classic franchise quotes, including:

“I know now why you cry, but it’s something I can never do. Goodbye.”

“The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it, for the first time, with a sense of hope.”

“There is no fate but what we make for ourselves.”

Release Details & Theater Return

Presented in a 100ml collector bottle and display tube, T-800 Eau de Parfum retails for $74.95 and drops this Friday, July 31, exclusively at lockhartsauthentic.com. Curious fans can also test the scent via a 3ml sample inside the FRACTIONAL SPECIMENS discovery kit.

The fragrance drop coincides with Terminator 2: Judgment Day returning to U.S. theaters from August 28 through September 2, 2026 in 4K, RealD 3D, and premium formats via STUDIOCANAL, Fathom Entertainment, and Rialto Pictures—just in time to celebrate Judgment Day on August 29.
