The Underworld Universe is expanding its supernatural footprint once again. Mad Cave Studios has officially announced VICTORIA JAGUAR, a brand-new five-issue miniseries from Underworld creator Mark London (Battlecats, Hunt. Kill. Repeat.).
Bringing the ancient horror to life is comics superstar Marco Rudy (Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, Justice League Dark), who delivers stunning painted interior artwork and the main cover, with lettering by industry veteran Pat Brosseau (Dick Tracy).
Since its debut in 2024, Mad Cave’s shared universe has built a sprawling line of high-concept supernatural thrillers—including Revolution 9, Hour of the Wolf, Exit City, Mister Nemo, and the massive crossover event Endless Night. Now, the mythology takes a deep dive into ancient immortal folklore.
The Nightmare Is Real
The story follows a man tormented by impossible, flesh-tearing nightmares who travels across the globe in search of the mythical Victoria Jaguar—an immortal protector chosen by the Night Sky itself centuries ago. But when Victoria digs into the truth behind his horrific visions, she makes a chilling discovery: the nightmare is a prophecy, and an unseen threat has already marked her for extinction.
Blending haunting mythology, cosmic dread, and Marco Rudy’s surreal painted pages, the standalone story offers both a welcoming entry point for newcomers and a rich expansion for die-hard Underworld readers.
