Jurassic Rampage, the latest creature feature from low-budget titan The Asylum, is out now. Known for delightfully unhinged pop-culture mockbusters like Sharknado, Immortal Combat, Shark Trash, and Master of the Universe, the production house is back. This time to give giant prehistoric reptiles a taste of suburban real estate. The film lands conveniently just one week ahead of David Robert Mitchell’s The End of Oak Street theatrical release. This gives creature-feature aficionados a head start on cinematic chaos.

Suburban Neighborhoods vs. Prehistoric Predators

The film’s premise cuts straight to the chase. An armored military transport loses control, unleashing a payload of hungry dinosaurs directly into an unsuspecting residential block. According to the official synopsis, the trapped neighborhood family must survive a deadly reptilian onslaught. The trailer wastes no time diving into the carnage. A family of four is pinned down in their own home while the armed personnel sent to contain the threat quickly become prehistoric snacks.

A Splashy Climax for the Ages

Desperate times call for tactical team-ups. The surviving family members are forced to join forces with the remaining soldiers to subdue the escaped beasts. The trailer culminates in an absurdly entertaining set piece located at a local water park, proving that not even a lazy river can save you from sharp teeth and poor life choices.

Behind the Extinction Event

Helmed by director Michael Su from a screenplay by Jeffery Anderson, Jurassic Rampage stars Johnny Pacar, best known for his turn as Damon Young on ABC’s Make It or Break It. He is joined by Leanne Johnson, Reagan Hope Moore, Drew Youngblood, and John Wells.
