A Terrifying Journey Back into the Abyss
Directed by Jon Harris and written by James McCarthy, J Blakeson, and James Watkins, this 94-minute R-rated horror-thriller continues the nightmarish journey of Sarah Carter, played by Shauna McDonald. Emerging bloodied, dazed, and traumatized from the Appalachian cave system, however, Sarah is forced back underground by authorities to help locate her missing friends. As her fractured memories surface, Sarah and the rescue team encounter a new, even more feral tribe of deformed subterranean crawlers lurking in the depths.
The film features a strong supporting ensemble including Natalie Mendoza, Douglas Hodge, Krysten Cummings, Gavan O’Herlihy, Josh Dallas, and Anna Skellern.
