If Final Destination 3 taught us anything, it is that high-speed roller coasters and ominous premonitions are a match made in horror heaven. Taking that iconic theme park dread to a whole new level, Six Flags Magic Mountain is unleashing Final Destination: Death’s Playground as a flagship haunted maze for this year’s Fright Fest!
Operating across 25 terrifying nights on select Thursdays through Sundays from September 18 to November 1, the park opens for daytime fun at 10:30 a.m. before darkness takes over at 7:00 p.m. It will keep the screams going until midnight on Thursdays and Sundays, and 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Step Inside Death’s Playground—If You Dare!
The new maze drops guests right into their very own vision of impending doom. Before the chaos erupts, a sudden premonition reveals a catastrophic chain of events unfolding in real time. Visitors will have to watch every single step, because Death isn’t random—it is a cold, calculated blueprint. By setting foot inside Six Flags Magic Mountain, you have unknowingly disrupted a grand, grisly design. And Death is coming to collect!
A Star-Studded Lineup of Horror Heavyweights
Final Destination: Death’s Playground joins an absolute powerhouse slate of iconic horror IPs taking over Fright Fest this fall. Guests can step into The Conjuring Universe maze and brave the Warrens’ infamous occult museum. They will come face-to-face with the malevolent gaze of Annabelle, the unholy presence of The Nun, and the demonic forces of the Perron farmhouse. Meanwhile, fans of Michael Dougherty’s darkly comic Halloween classic can venture into Trick’ r Treat, a candy-trail nightmare. Where enforcing SSam’srules is the only way to survive.
For those craving even more slasher mayhem across the country, keep an eye out as the Jason Universe invades Six Flags Great Adventure for an extra dose of autumn terror!
