It’s available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store for $29.99 USD. Accompanied by a brand-new launch trailer highlighting its occult world and mystical combat, the title invites players to step onto the rain-slicked cobblestones of a dark metropolis.
Witchcraft and Unpaid Debts
Beneath the wealthy, bustling surface of 1666 Amsterdam lurk “The Originals.” They are ancient, immortal entities. They have spent centuries abusing power and time.
Players step into the shoes of Noa Brooklyn, a young woman raised as the “Collector” to strip these creatures of their stolen influence.
The gameplay revolves around a dynamic day-night cycle. By day, Noa investigates the city to unmask and track Originals hiding behind ordinary human faces. However, by night, during the mystical Esbat, her targets reveal their monstrous true forms. This forces her to deploy deadly witchcraft, spellcasting, and tactical strategy to collect what is owed.
Four Paws and a Spellbook
Noa does not navigate the shadows of Amsterdam alone. Players can seamlessly swap between Noa and Aaron, a temporal castaway summoned from 1999. Aaron views the 17th century through the eyes of a cat. Noa relies on offensive magic and investigation. However, Aaron uses his feline agility and stealth to slip through tight spaces, scout hidden pathways, and approach targets from wildly different vantage points.
Co-Authoring the Nightmare
Panache Digital Games is leveraging the Early Access period to refine mechanics and iterate based on community input. Players are encouraged to join the official Panache Discord server to share their discoveries and feedback.
