The story kicks off when Karl regains consciousness inside a wrecked hotel suite. The intense headache he is experiencing has nothing to do with alcohol. He retains zero memory of his identity, location, or past. However, the situation rapidly escalates from disorienting to deadly when he discovers a body in the bathtub, just as police begin battering down the door.
Forced into an uneasy alliance with a hotel maid named Molly, Karl flees into a lethal web of corrupt law enforcement, shadowy global conspiracies, and relentless hitmen. To make it through the night, he must rely on lethal combat skills he didn’t know he possessed.
