Following a triumphant run across the international festival circuit, The Barn Part III is officially coming to physical media. Independent horror distributor Scream Team Releasing has now launched physical pre-orders on Blu-ray and classic VHS.
The final chapter in the indie slasher trilogy wrapped up its theatrical run after high-profile stops at Fright Fest, Popcorn Frights, Panic Fest, Salem Horror Fest, Sitges, and Smodcastle Horror Fest.
Along the way, the production also picked up a mountain of awards. It took home Best Feature Film honors at GenreBlast and Requiem Fear Fest. Justin M. Seaman won Best Feature Film. Also, Zane Hershberger won Best Cinematography at NJ Horror Con and Best Underground Horror Feature at Dead Walk Fest.
The Final Halloween Chapter in Helen’s Valley
Set years after the previous films, The Barn Part III centers on Josh Harper (Courtney Gains). He has devoted his life to keeping the infernal, barn-dwelling monsters from returning. He must protect his hometown and his sister, Heather (Kelli Maroney). However, a far more sinister force emerges from the shadows. And it aims to resurrect the bloody Halloween legend once and for all.
The ensemble cast also features Tristan Olsen, Amanda Byrne, and John Kassir. You’ll recognize Kassir as the iconic voice of the Crypt Keeper from Tales from the Crypt.
Reflecting on the trilogy’s completion, writer-director Justin M. Seaman thanked the dedicated fan base that supported the franchise’s evolution from an eighties-inspired throwback into a multi-decade slasher epic.

Award-Winning Practical FX Take Center Stage
If one element defined the festival journey for The Barn Part III, it was the film’s practical splatter effects. FX masterminds Cody Ruch and Samantha Sanford created the film’s creature designs and blood-soaked set pieces. Along with other trophies, the film won Best Special FX awards at Smodcastle, Crimson Screen, and GenreBlast. It also won awards at the Houston Horror Film Festival and Days of the Dead.
Packed Collector’s Editions and 3D Anaglyph Experience
Scream Team Releasing is bringing The Barn Part III home with an expansive collection of physical media options. The release features four variant cover designs. There’s an exclusive slipcover. It also includes autographed editions signed by key cast and crew members. That includes genre icons Courtney Gains (Children of the Corn), Kelli Maroney (Chopping Mall), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp), William Ragsdale (Fright Night), and Ari Lehman (Friday the 13th).
The Blu-ray disc features a retro 3D Anaglyph version of the movie, complete with special-edition 3D glasses.

The Franchise
The Barn is a celebrated indie slasher trilogy, a blood-soaked homage to 1980s creature features. The story follows the terrifying resurrection of three demonic Halloween entities, The Boogeyman, Hallowed Jack, and the Candycorn Scarecrow. They brutally slaughter anyone breaking seasonal traditions in Helen’s Valley.
