The horror landscape is preparing for a dark and unusual entry into the killer doll subgenre this autumn. Move over Chucky, there’s a new killer doll in town.
Uncork’d Entertainment has officially scheduled the Digital and on-demand debut of the horror comedy Jeffrey Dollmer for this November. It’s bringing a twisted supernatural premise to horror fans. The film imagines the sinister presence of notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer becoming entrapped within a murderous toy. It sparks a modern-day trail of terror.
A Decades-Old Ritual Unleashes Present-Day Slaughter
Law enforcement captures him, interrupting an unusual doll and an occult ritual designed to shift his evil soul into the object. His capture by law enforcement interrupts the dark ceremony. This leaves the ritual incomplete and the doll locked away in a police evidence room. Decades later, the evidence is discarded, sending the doll back out into society.
When the lingering spirit inside is inadvertently reactivated, it targets a young model who shares a striking resemblance to its original creator. Seeking refuge, the model heads to a remote location for an extended photoshoot, but the possessed vessel follows her to the secluded setting and begins methodically eliminating everyone on set.
A Veteran Horror Creative Team and Ensemble Cast
Jeffrey Dollmer is helmed by director Mark Savage (Purgatory Road) and based on a screenplay by John Doolan (Popeye the Slayer Man, Remains) and Jeff Miller (Clowntown, Ouija House). Miller also developed the original story and acts as a producer on the project.
The cast includes Charlie Trepany, Chey Crieger, Juliana Destefano, Adam Huss, Eva Hamilton, and Tom Parnell, alongside Brian Joseph Mange, who portrays Jeffrey Dahmer. Fans of the genre will also spot a special cameo appearance from Final Destination creator Jeffrey Reddick.
Get ready for a new demented doll: Jeffrey Dollmer arrives on November 3.
