Tarsier Studios has said that they’re speechless after it was announced that their game, REANIMAL, has received ten nominations for this year’s Horror Game Awards!
REANIMAL’s nominations and the official category descriptions:
- Game of the Year – The best horror game experience across all genres and technical fields
- Players’ Choice Award – The most popular horror game of 2026 as entirely nominated and voted for by the public
- Critics’ Choice Award – The best horror game of 2026 as chosen by our critics’ jury
- Scariest Game of the Year – The game that provided the most singularly terrifying experience of the past year
- Best Cosy Horror – The best horror game which focuses on cosy, spooky vibes rather than pulse-pounding terror
- Best New Multiplayer Horror Game – The best multiplayer horror experience from the current year
- Technical Achievement Award – The 2026 horror release that represents the best innovation in gameplay or technology in the field
- Best Art Direction – The best art direction in a horror game
- Best Soundtrack – The best original soundtrack in a horror game
- Best Narrative – The best story experience in a horror game
