BritBox, the streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV, is offering the largest content of British TV ever and has now shared details about Lot No. 249, this year’s installment of the UK’s fan-favorite anthology series, A Ghost Story for Christmas. Back by popular demand, this year’s spooky festive program is an adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle’s short story.
Debuting on BritBox later this month, Lot No. 249 is written and directed by Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) and will star Kit Harington (“Game of Thrones”) alongside Freddie Fox (The Great).
The special follows a group of Oxford students, one of whom undertakes research into the secrets of Ancient Egypt, which becomes the talk of the college. As these experiments continue, strange occurrences abound in the mysterious Lot. No 249.
