Are you looking for a movie that combines thrills, chills, and dark humor? If the answer is yes, you need to check out director Michael Day‘s new horror thriller, Clawfoot. The good news is that it’s available now on VOD and heading to digital.
Francesca Eastwood (Old) leads the cast alongside Milo Gibson (Hacksaw Ridge). Olivia Culpo, Oliver Cooper, and Nestor Carbonell round out the cast.
Clawfoot follows a housewife psychologically terrorized by a manipulative contractor who shows up on her doorstep with an invoice signed by her husband. The two soon go head to head in a twisted battle of wits with deliciously unexpected results.
In my spoiler-free review, I called it “a darkly comedic and suspenseful ride that keeps you on the edge of your seat. I also stated, “With its unexpected twists, sharp dialogue, dark humor, and well-paced action, Clawfoot is a refreshing addition to the genre.”
I had the pleasure of sitting down for an interview with director Michael Day, who discussed the film with excitement, which we don’t see often these days. And he was right to do so. It’s a great film. I highly recommend you check it out now or when it arrives on Digital on September 23.
