Six Flags is turning up the terror with Fright Fest Extreme, an immersive Halloween experience featuring iconic horror franchises like The Conjuring and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. We’ve already shared the first glimpses of those experiences. Now, we have a first look at its SAW-inspired experience, SAW: Legacy of Terror.
Just in time for the Halloween season, SAW celebrates its 20th Anniversary. Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have teamed up with Six Flags to bring Jigsaw to Fright Fests around North America. Six Flags has expanded the event with new gameplay and even more thrilling jump scares, culminating in one final test to survive.
Welcome to the ultimate trial of survival in SAW: LEGACY of TERROR. This Fall, step into the world of SAW with an all-new experience honoring the franchise. Guests will enter iconic film scenes and come face to face with some of John Kramer’s contraptions.
SAW: LEGACY of TERROR features interactive elements in which guests are not just idle bystanders but active participants in Jigsaw’s world where choices lead to varied consequences.
Time ticks mercilessly by as guests struggle to escape the clutches of this chilling nightmare. Beware the false sanctuary of The Control Room. It tests the wits of any guest attempting to earn their redemption as you are forced to make a choice.
Guests are cautioned against stumbling into a room rarely seen: John’s Workshop. Guests can witness torture techniques such as “the rack,” the “eye ball trap,” among others. All throughout, homage is paid to the entire franchise with easter eggs for true horror fans to identify.
SAW: LEGACY of TERROR will open at Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Magic Mountain, Six Flags Over Texas, and Six Flags Over Georgia. It begins this September and runs through November 3, 2024.
