If you think your apartment building has a terrible HOA, wait until you see the hell Zazie Beetz has to navigate.

They Will Kill You, the raucous action-horror-comedy that turned a Manhattan high-rise into a literal house of the damned, is officially set to make its global streaming debut next week. This movie is an absolute must-watch for genre fans who appreciate a healthy dose of humor mixed with John Wick-style stunts.

The Ultimate Bad Roommate Situation

Beetz (Deadpool 2) stars as Asia. She’s a woman who thinks she’s just landed a standard New York City apartment at “The Virgil.” Instead, she quickly discovers the high-rise is actually a demonic death trap serving as a temple to Satan. She is forced to fight her way through a gauntlet of robed zealots and blood-splattered corridors to survive.

Director Kirill Sokolov (Why Don’t You Die!) helms the madness from a script he co-wrote with Alex Litvak (Predators). IT director Andy Muschietti produces the film alongside Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan.

The stacked, all-too-game ensemble features Patricia Arquette (Severance), Myha’la (Industry), Tom Felton (Harry Potter franchise), Paterson Joseph (The Leftovers), and Heather Graham (Suitable Flesh).

Physical Media Purists, Rejoice

If you prefer your satanic cults safely preserved on a plastic disc rather than floating in the digital cloud, you won’t have to wait long.

Stream this must-see movie on HBO Max on Friday, June 12. And on June 30, 2026, They Will Kill You will officially hit  4K UHD™, Blu-ray™, and DVD. Be sure to check out our exclusive interview with VFX supervisor Marc Smith to find out exactly how they pulled off the practical stunts and digital gore that make this action-packed nightmare such a riot.
