Cinema Epoch has officially acquired worldwide distribution rights to director Vito Trabucco’s deliciously twisted dark thriller-comedy, The Delicate Art of Cooking Italian and Killing Your Wife. Genre fans won’t have to wait long to feast on the madness. A global digital release is slated for late October across major streaming platforms. However, before it hits home screens, the film will make its international market debut at the 2026 American Film Market (AFM) in Los Angeles.
Giallo Vibes, Paranoia, and Pasta
It’s a blend of psychological suspense, razor-sharp dark comedy, and classic giallo influences. The film follows a man whose peaceful weekend devolves into absolute chaos after he murders his wife. What follows is a paranoia-fueled game of cat and mouse. However, reality keeps shifting, trust is nonexistent, and one fundamental rule remains: authentic Italian cuisine never lies.
Wearing its inspirations proudly on its sleeve, the film pays homage to the masterclasses of Brian De Palma, Claude Chabrol, and Alfred Hitchcock. It blends unexpected twists with a healthy dose of wicked humor.
The film stars Vince Cusimano (Blade: The Iron Cross), Tania Fox (Airplane 2025), and Katt Balsan (John Henry).
Behind the camera, Trabucco directs from a script he co-wrote with Cusimano, with the pair producing alongside Jake Cole. The film’s visual style and tense atmosphere are spearheaded by cinematographer Craig Railsback, backed by a score from Fabrizio Castania.

Cinema Epoch’s sister production company, Cineridge Entertainment, has signed on to produce Trabucco’s next feature—a suspense thriller set to roll cameras this December.
