Vampire lovers, prepare your ears and clear your Sunday schedules. AMC+ is officially bringing The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE straight to streaming screens on August 23.
The concert was filmed during a packed, standing-room-only performance at New York City’s iconic Beacon Theatre earlier this summer. The special concert event celebrates the release of AMC’s The Vampire Lestat. Star Sam Reid takes center stage to perform original, rock-infused tracks penned by series composer Daniel Hart. He gives a theatrical experience that bridges the gap between prestige television and live music.
An Electric World Tour and Looming Immortality
The new series follows Lestat de Lioncourt (Reid) as he embarks on an intoxicating, multi-city concert tour. The season unfolds while Lestat is haunted by ghost-like “muses” from his long, rebellious past. As the Vampire’s star power skyrockets across the globe, his influence over both human fans and vampires grows increasingly dangerous. This skyrocketing fame coincides with the threat of the “Great Conversion,” an unnatural, terrifying explosion in the worldwide vampire population. One that forces the rest of the immortal community to reckon with Lestat’s unchecked power.
A Stacked Cast and Immortal Lore
An exceptional ensemble cast backs Reid. It includes Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Sheila Atim, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle.
The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson alongside creator, writer, and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late literary icon Anne Rice. Fans looking to catch up before the concert special airs can currently stream The Vampire Lestat, along with the first two acclaimed seasons of Interview with the Vampire, exclusively on AMC+.
