Fresh off his performance in Disclosure Day, acclaimed actor Colman Domingo is set to headline Netflix’s chilling new limited series “The Headlands House.”
The series is a dark and suspenseful ride crafted by writer and executive producer Cameron B. Dupont. Dupont is renowned for his work on the hit survival series “Yellowjackets,” whose November premiere date was just announced.
A Dream Home Turned Nightmare
According to The Wrap, the series centers on a seemingly perfect marriage that rapidly unravels under terrifying circumstances. A couple moves into their ultimate dream home. However, the idyllic facade shatters upon discovering the property’s gruesome history. They soon learn that the previous residents were the victims of a brutal, unsolved murder inside its walls. As the dark secrets of the house surface, psychological tension mounts. Soon, the couple realizes that the lingering threat is far from over, putting their own lives in grave danger.
A Unique Cross-Network Collaboration
In a notable industry move, the series is being produced by AMC Studios specifically for Netflix. This strategy highlights a shifting landscape in television and streaming production.
Kristin Dolan of AMC recently addressed this collaborative approach, explaining that the studio’s team is actively developing projects for a variety of leading distributors while also programming for its own platforms. She noted that producing premium content for external networks is a natural and highly effective extension of AMC’s internal development process.

Beyond his starring role in front of the camera, Colman Domingo is deeply involved behind the scenes. He will serve as an executive producer on the project alongside Raúl Domingo, operating under the banner of their own company, Edith Productions.
