Indie Horror ‘The 3 Killer Pigs’ Unleashes Blood-Drenched Chaos This Month

Just in time for spooky season, director Emmy Award winner Marcel Banks and Kaitlin Lyerly design the practical creature effects and makeup. Thomas J. Churchill is unleashing The 3 Killer Pigs, an uninhibited throwback shocker that channels the blood-soaked, suspense-driven energy of 1980s Italian horror.

Distributed by Quiver Distribution, the creature feature kicks off a limited U.S. theatrical run this September. It will launch in New York before making its digital. However, it will then hit Video-on-Demand this October.

Livestock, Blood Oaths, and Unchecked Carnage

Written, produced, and directed by genre veteran Thomas J. Churchill (The Salem Chronicles, The Amityville Trilogy), The 3 Killer Pigs centers on a local farmer whose desperate attempt to recover his livestock triggers a deadly supernatural nightmare. After a sinister blood oath is sealed, a trio of monstrous swine returns to where their story began. They leave a trail of gore in their wake.

Designed as an homage to Italian horror maestro Dario Argento, the production features an eerie original score composed by frequent Argento collaborator Marco Werba. The practical creature effects and makeup are designed by Emmy Award winner Marcel Banks and Kaitlin Lyerly.

Horror Veterans and Debut Talent Lead the Ensemble

The cast is led by veteran television actor and director Anson Williams, alongside Brian Austin Green and screen icon Robert Carradine. The film marks one of his final film roles before his passing. Making their feature film debuts are Rachel Pizzolato (MythBusters Jr.) and Dancing with the Stars fan-favorite Sharna Burgess.

Jody Quigley, William McNamara, Meghan Carrasquillo, Robert LaSardo, Tank Jones, Richard Gabai, and YouTube personality Scott “Scott On Tape” Carmen round out the cast. This also includes one of HorrorFuel.com’s favorites, Sadie Katz.

Aleksandra Zorich Hunt produces. Executive producers include Guy Quigley and Thundersmoke Media. The team views The 3 Killer Pigs as the foundation for a fun, bloody new indie creature franchise.
