Godzilla Minus Zero marks a historic moment. It is the first-ever Japanese production shot entirely in Japan in the IMAX format. The production promises an immersive visual and auditory experience tailored for the biggest screens possible.
Key Cast and Visionary Director Return
Visionary filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki returns to helm the sequel. And he’s pulling triple duty as the director, screenwriter, and visual effects supervisor behind the film’s epic kaiju destruction. Joining Yamazaki are Godzilla Minus One stars Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe. They are reprising their iconic roles as the story moves into a new era of destruction.

Godzilla Minus Zero is set in 1949, two years following the harrowing events of its predecessor. The narrative finds Japan desperately rebuilding from absolute ruin.
