It appears to be Verity’s raw, unfiltered autobiography.
However, as Lowen reads through horrifying confessions involving Verity’s husband, Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), the line between reality and deception blurs. Soon, she is plunged into a dangerous web of psychological manipulation and forbidden attraction.
