Apple TV has officially unveiled the trailer for “Nocturne.” It’s a dark and suspenseful thriller series based on Lars Kepler’s international bestselling crime novel The Sandman.

A Deadly Game of Cat and Mouse

The narrative follows Jonah Lynn, played by Liev Schreiber. He’s a former soldier and seasoned homicide detective who trades the grueling streets of Philadelphia for a quiet life in a small town. However, his peace is swiftly shattered. The community and his family are targeted by Jurek Walter (Stephen Graham), a relentless serial killer. As the hunt for Walter’s final missing victim grows desperate, Lynn’s surrogate daughter, FBI Agent Saga Bauer (Zazie Beetz), is drawn into a dangerous confrontation with the killer.

Alongside the lead trio, the ensemble cast features Bill Camp, Rory Culkin, Chrissy Metz, Poorna Jagannathan, and Gary Carr. The series is developed, written, and co-showrun by John Hlavin alongside BAFTA Award winner Rowan Joffe. Emmy, Peabody, and DGA Award winner Tim Van Patten directs the opening two episodes and serves as executive producer.

Executive producers also include Schreiber, Beetz via Sleepy Poppy.
