Dark Sky Films has officially unveiled the trailer and release details for Trauma Or, Monsters All, the terrifying new feature from indie horror icon Larry Fessenden.

Celebrated for his distinct, character-driven approach to genre storytelling, Fessenden remains a true pioneer of low-budget, atmospheric cinema. As a result, his latest effort offers a fascinating dive into psychological horror, human vulnerability, and monster folklore. Ahead of its debut, genre fans are buzzing with excitement to see how the legendary director reinterprets classic creature tropes for contemporary audiences.

Monsters and Mayhem

In the film, writer Cassandra uncovers buried history in Talbot Falls and publishes an article that sets off a dangerous chain reaction. Her exposé shatters the town’s facade and forces hidden creatures—a werewolf, a vampire, and a reanimated soul—out of hiding.

Fear quickly turns neighbors against one another. As a result, townsfolk and monsters alike must confront generations of shared trauma and guilt.

Laëtitia Hollard (The Pitt) leads the cast. Sitana Doyle, Addison Timlin, Alex Hurt, Alex Breaux, and Fessenden join her
