The film initially centers on Doctor Abby Morrison, an incredibly compassionate but secretive physician. Unfortunately, Abby hides a massive secret from absolutely everyone. In fact, she has never shared this dark truth before. Meanwhile, David Arquette portrays her loving but completely unaware husband. The couple is adjusting to the quiet emptiness of empty nesting as their child has just left home. However, their peaceful suburban existence shatters soon after.
