Dust off your barf bags! Poultrygeist 2: Dawn of the Chicken Dead is coming to take a massive, bloody bite out of your sanity!
We know, we know—you made it through the 2006 original, where zombified chickens attacked a fast-food joint built on an ancient burial ground. But trust us, Troma Entertainment is back to prove you haven’t seen anything yet.
You can check out the teaser trailer below, but heed this serious warning: IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT SAFE FOR WORK (or probably life in general). Watch it somewhere very, very private.
The “Fowlest” Film Ever Made
Troma is keeping the detailed plot under wraps for now. However, writer-director-producer Mercedes the Muse has a simple, glorious goal: to create the “fowlest” movie ever put to film.
What does that mean for you? Expect pure, unadulterated Troma chaos, complete with wild practical effects. There will be twisted musical numbers, because nothing says horror like a catchy, blood-drenched tune. But the fun doesn’t stop there; you can expect extreme gore. It’s also been teased that there will be unspeakable acts. We don’t even want to guess what that means.
The original Poultrygeist director and Troma co-founder Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz are on board as executive producers, so you know this sequel is certified 100% Tromatic.
The cast is a glorious mix of newcomers, Sadie Satanas, Knotty Peach, Christina Von Eerie, and Vada Callisto, alongside Troma legends: Mark Torgl (The Toxic Avenger), Debbie Rochon (Citizen Toxie), and, of course, the great Lloyd Kaufman himself.
Get ready to squawk with delight (and maybe gag a little). Poultrygeist 2: Dawn of the Chicken Dead hatches in 2026.
