This weekend during PaleyFest LA 2016, the Scream Queens panel revealed a lot of new information about season 2. Much of the cast will be returning, including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lee Michele, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd and Glen Powell.
This season we will see the “Chanels”, last scene committed to a mental hospital for the criminally insane, will be exonerated and accepted into medical school. Palmer’s character, Zayday Williams will be playing the role of a physician. Murder and chaos will ensue in the hospital. Niecy Nash (Denise) will be joining the F.B.I. and investigating the murders. There is a rumor that Harry Styles of One Direction will make a cameo. Several new cast members have been added, but not revealed at this time.
Viewers will see more references to horror movies, and pop culture this season. Last season was inspired by the 1988 horror film Heathers. This season was inspired by another horror classic, but which one is being kept hush-hush.
Ryan Murphy, the series co-creator, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan serve as directors, writers and producers for Scream Queens. Season 2 will premiere this Fall on FOX.
