Lately the horror genre has been over-run with reboots and remakes. Now, a remake of 1990’s thriller Jacob’s Ladder is in the works. The remake will be directed by David Rosenthal (The Perfect Guy), with Michael Ealy (Underworld: Awakening) starring as the lead.
In the film, a haunted Vietnam veteran, mourning the death oh his child, attempts to uncover his past while suffering a severe case of dissociation, hallucinations. There is no word if the new version will follow the same story line, but I’m sure that Ealy’s character would be a veteran from a different war.
Tim Robbins played the lead role, Jacob, in the original film, directed by Adrian Lyne.
