Mike Mendez (The Covenant, Tales of Halloween) is pulling the trigger on his new film Don’t Kill It. The ultra-violent supernatural thriller stars Dolph Lundgren (The Expendables, Shark Lake) as a badass demon hunter.
Written by Dan Berk and Robert Olsen, Don’t Kill It co-stars Kristina Klebe, Miles Doleac, Michael Aaron Milligan, Billy Slaughter, Aaron McPherson, Jasi Cotton Lanier, Tony Bentley and James Chalke.
In this blood-drenched film an ancient evil is unleashed on a small Alaskan town leaving in its wake a trail of death and destruction as it jumps from host to host. The town’s only hope is Jebediah, a grizzled demon hunter (Lundgren) who has faced the evil before. Together Jebediah and Evelyn (Klebe), a reluctant FBI agent must figure out how to destroy the demon.
Menedez shared the photo below to give fans a sense of the gore they can expect. Man, that’s a lot of blood. Don’t Kill It will be released later this year. A trailer should arrive soon.
