Shawn “Clown” Crahan of Slipknot exchanges the stage for the director’s chair with Officer Downe. The ultra-violent film follows a police officer returned from the dead to fight crime. Crahan also co-produced this action-packed, gore-fest with Mark Neveldine (Crank), who says that “…the film is going to be unrelenting, awesome, and super duper R-rated.”
Synopsis:

Officer Downe is based on the comic by Joe Casey and Chris Burnham. Kim Coates (Sons of Anarchy) plays the undead officer and star of the movie. Sam Witwer, Lauren Luna Velez, Reno Wilson, Lindsey Pulsipher, Mark Neveldine, Tyler Rose, Meadow Williams and Joseph Julian Soria co-star.
Officer Downe premieres tonight (June 3rd) at the LA Film Festival.
