For those of you who are both fans of the horror genre and of musicals, we have great news! Robert Zemeckis’ 1992 classic black-comedy film Death Becomes Her is headed to Broadway.
Tony and Emmy award winner Kristen Chenoweth has signed on to play one of the lead roles, as a fading actress on whose quest to regain her youth ends in a macabre twist. The role was originally played in the film by Meryl Streep.

Chenoweth recently appeared in the first season of ‘American Gods’ and she took to the stage as Glinda in ‘Wicked’. Universal who was a partner in the long-running hit show will also be involved with ‘Death Becomes Her’.
