The Sequel to Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters is on its way and we won’t have to wait long to see it. Titled Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, the sequel will arrive this July.
“The sequel to Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters is an epic re-imagining of the Godzilla world in a futuristic setting that pits humans and robots against the biggest Godzilla ever seen in an interplanetary struggle for survival.”
Directors Kōbun Shizuno and Hiroyuki Seshita, along with screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, will be returning for the sequel in which Mamoru Miyano reprises his role as Sakaki. Takahiro Sakurai, Kana Hanazawa, Tomokazu Sugita, Yuki Kaji, and Junichi Suwabe co-star.
Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle premieres on Netflix on July 18, 2018.
