Soon Rob Zombie won’t be the only rocker turned director. The leader of The Misfits, Glenn Danzig has just signed on with Cleopatra Entertainment to write, direct, and compose the score for his first feature film, a three-part horror anthology inspired by Verotik, his popular mature comic books.
“Glenn has a fantastic track record of building brands, including Verotik,” said owner and CEO of Cleopatra Records and Cleopatra Entertainment, Brian Perera. “We’re excited to bring his vision and passion to the screen.”
Principal photography is set to begin this fall.
