We’ve been eagerly awaiting news for “The Haunting of Bly Manor“. Victoria Pedretti, who played Nell in season one, will return for the second season as the lead character, Dani. But she won’t be returning alone. Pedretti will be joined by “Hill House” alums Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Elizabeth Reaser. Today, Mike Flanagan announced that Kate Siegel has signed on to return as well. The family is almost complete.

The second season of Netflix’s hit anthology series was inspired by Henry James’ novella The Turn of the Screw which Mike Flanagan intends to put a new spin on. He also promises that this season is going to be even “scarier” than the first.

We’re looking at all the ghost stories of Henry James as the jumping-off point for the season, so it very much is a whole new deal. It’s a cool way to expand on some of the things I loved about season one, but within the framework of a new story, without having to be restrained by the decisions we made last time.”

Hopefully, we’ll discover more about the plot and premiere date soon.
