The BBC has unleashed the first trailer for its reboot series of the H.G. Wells classic “War of the Worlds“.
Rafe Spall and Eleanor Tomlinson star alongside Robert Carlyle and “Sherlock’s” Rupert Graves in “War of the Worlds”, adapted by Peter Harness and directed by Craig Viveiro.
The series marks the first adaptation set somewhere other than America. This time the story is set in Edwardian England and centers on George (Spall)and his partner Amy (Tomlinson) as they attempt to start a life together during an alien invasion.
Betsan Morris Evans is producing with Damien Timmer, Preethi Mavahalli, Peter Harness, Craig Viveiros, and Tommy Bulfin are executive producing.
