Alien is coming to the small screen for a series adaptation. Currently being developed with Ridley Scott on board, an Alien series is headed to Hulu, though no premiere date has been announced.
We Got This Covered is reporting that according to their sources the series will be an anthology with each season taking place in a different part of the Alien universe.
The franchise, now owned by Disney, may or may not be connected to the reboots that Disney is working on. Right now, information is being kept hush, hush.
The site points out that the R-rated series could be “something special” if given the right budget and I agree. I hope the show does live up to what the franchise’s fans expect. We’ll keep you posted as more details are announced.
