Fans of the popular tabletop RPG game series “Arkham Horror” will be happy to hear that their favorite characters are coming to life in Asmodee Digital’s video game, Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace.
Set in a 1926 Lovecraftian world, players are tasked with solving the brutal murder of an Astronomy professor in her own mansion. Players have to pick from 12 iconic characters from the “Arkham Horror” board game series. Each character has their own set of skills that will be useful in their investigation into the murder.
Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace will be a squad-based narrative adventure that features tactical RPG combat, investigation, and exploration mechanics. The character’s sanity will be affected by their encounters with Lovecraftian horrors and thus affecting their investigation.
Arkham Horror: Mother’s Embrace is set to be released in 2021 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and Nintendo Switch.
