Stephen Lang is back as the badass blind man for the sequel to the hit 2016 horror film Don’t Breathe. As filming nears completion, Sony’s Screen Gems have now announced the movie’s 2021 premiere date.
Directed by Rodo Sayagues, and co-written with Fede Alvarez, Don’t Breathe 2 is set several years after the home invasion in the first movie. Land’s character has withdrawn back into quiet solace, living in an isolated cabin, and raising a young girl orphaned during a fire. When she’s kidnapped he must leave the safety of their home and find a way to save her.
Bobby Schofield and Adam Young also star in Don’t Breathe 2 opening in theaters on August 13, 2021.
