On the day-to-day life on set, I had a lot of input into it.” Don’t Breathe 2 is the feature directorial debut of Rodo Sayagues, who

Fede Alvarez Asks Fans What They Want Next, Evil Dead 2 or Don’t Breathe 2

With Bruce Campbell officially retiring Ash Williams, it would be a great time for a sequel to Fede Alvarez’s Evil Dead (2013), and we think the director knows that. Alvarez, who is also behind the fantastic film Don’t Breathe, recently took to Twitter to ask fans (via a poll) what they want to him to do next, Evil Dead 2 or Don’t Breathe 2 and fans gave him a clear answer with 70% requesting Evil Dead 2. I’ll be honest, I would love to see both. Ok time to ask this. What should I do? — Fede Alvarez (@fedalvar) May 4, 2018 While there is no concrete word that either sequel will be happening any time soon, at least we now know that Alvarez is considering them and he knows fans are hungry for more. Which would you rather see first, Evil Dead 2 or Don’t Breathe 2?

Stephen Lang Confirms “Don’t Breathe” Sequel Is Still Happening

In this cinematic landscape where entire franchises are outlined before their first film releases, the mere announcement of a sequel is far from a guarantee that sequel will be made. Stephen Lang, however, is pretty damn confident a second Don’t Breathe film is coming. In an interview with Screen Rant, Lang was about as clear as possible stating, “Oh yeah, we’re doing a sequel.” Well damn, that sure was easy. Lang played the old blind man in Don’t Breathe to genuine, terrifying perfection in what was one of 2016’s best horror films (which also include 2016’s grossest use of a turkey baster). This won’t just be a second helping of the same old stuff either, if producer Sam Raimi is telling the truth, stating way back in November of 2016 “It’s only the greatest idea for a sequel I’ve ever heard. I’m not kidding.” We haven’t actually seen any plot details for Don’t Breathe 2 but the first film did
