Coming this November is the next chapter The Dragon Tattoo story, The Girl in the Spider’s Web, starring Claire Foy (The Crown) as Lisbeth Salander, the fierce, outcast vigilante defender from the acclaimed Millennium book series created by Stieg Larsson.
A first-time adaptation of the recent global bestseller, the film is directed by Fede Alvarez, the director of 2016’s breakout thriller Don’t Breathe. Alvarez directed from the screenplay adaptation he co-wrote with Jay Basu and Steven Knight.
Sverrir Gudnason, Lakeith Stanfield, Sylvia Hoeks, Stephen Merchant, Claes Bang, Christopher Convery, Synnøve Macody Lund, and Vicky Krieps also star.
The film is produced by Scott Rudin, Ole Søndberg, Søren Stærmose, Berna Levin, Amy Pascal, Elizabeth Cantillon, Eli Bush. Executive producers include Robert J. Dohrmann, Line Winther Skyum Funch, Johannes Jensen, Anni Faurbye Fernandez, and David Fincher.
The Girl in the Spider’s Web will debut on November 9, 2018, from Sony Pictures.
