Fans were very excited several months ago to learn that a new Twin Peaks’ series would be airing on Showtime. It wasn’t long before the show fell apart when the original show’s co-creator David Lynch walked away.
Showtime has just announced via Twitter that the show is back on, with David Lynch back on the team and the show is back on.
The original mystery-thriller focused on a town where nothing is what it seemed. ‘Twin Peaks’ starred Kyle MacLachlan, Lara Flynn Boyle, Ray Wise, Michael Ferrer, Heather Graham and many others.
The new series’ cast includes the return of several of the original cast, such as Dana Ashbrook, Sherilyn Fenn, Kyle MacLachlan, Ray Wise and Lara Flynn Boyle and will premier sometime in 2016.
