Jurassic World: Dominion is heading to theaters next summer. So far, we’ve shared the 5-minute prologue, but today we’ve got the first image from the sequel (via Total Film) that shows Bryce Dallas Howard‘s character Claire up to her neck in trouble.
Brilliant filmmaker Colin Trevorrow, who was behind Jurassic World, directs from a script written by Emily Carmichael, based on a story by Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.
Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and BD Wong are all returning for Dominion as are stars of the original trilogy, Sam Neill, Lauren Dern, and Jeff Goldblum.
Following the release of the poster earlier this month, director Colin Trevorrow teased that Dominion will show dinosaurs in their original habitat. “Ever since I was a kid, I have wanted to see dinosaurs in their natural habitat,” he explained. “It may have taken a few decades, but with a little help from ILM, Universal and Amblin, it has finally happened. This preview is just a glimpse of the film we’ve made. It’s an epic celebration of everything Steven Spielberg and Michael Crichton created, and I can’t wait to share it with the world next summer.”
Jurassic World: Dominion is set to take over theaters on June 10, 2022.
