Following the success of Joe Berlinger‘s documentary “Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes“, Berlinger is ready to dive into the mind and crimes of the infamous killer John Wayne Gacy, a name every true crime fan knows, in “Conversations with a Killer: The John Wayne Gacy Tapes“. And we’ve got the new trailer.

Set to air on Netflix on April 20, 2022, the docuseries is composed of three episodes and will feature never-before-heard audio from Gacy’s interrogations as well as interviews with both survivors and investigators.

John Wayne Gacy led a double life. He was a beloved member of the community and even dressed up as “Pogo the clown” for children’s birthday parties. He secretly would bring home teens and young adult males, kill them and hide their bodies in his crawl space. Gacy’s confirmed body count stands at 33. His death sentence was carried out at 12:58 a.m. on May 10, 1994, by lethal injection. His brain was removed and donated to science.

The series was produced by RadicalMedia Production in association with Third Eye Motion Picture Company and Mike Mathis Productions.
